What You Need to Know About Vertigo Callouts

Table of Contents

Vertigo is the most controversial map in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive map pool. Many players consider it to be the most balanced and interesting, due to its many levels. Others, on the contrary, argue that adding this location to the professional scene was a mistake of the developers.

In any case, Vertigo CS:GO map deserves our attention. Based on matchmaking statistics and the FACEIT platform, more users have been choosing this map recently. This is largely due to the emergence of locations such as Ancient and Anubis, which players have not had time to get used to. At a minimum, this is due to the complex structure of these maps, due to which the ping on most personal computers sags to 100–150.

To achieve effective results, the user definitely needs to know Vertigo Callouts. In fact, this is the name of the basic positions with which players can transmit information to their partners. Now, Counter-Strike is as much about good shooting as it is about communication. If players do not communicate with their team, the team will not be able to achieve real results.

In many ways, Vertigo CS:GO Callouts are similar to those used by players on other maps. Accordingly, experienced players will find it much easier to understand the nuances and adapt to this location. Its attraction is considered an urban atmosphere, because the whole process takes place on the upper floors of a tall house.

If we talk about the names of the most relevant positions, it is worth noting the following:

  • CT Spawn, T Spawn. These are the two zones where the Terrorists and defenders start each round. While it is not isolated, gamers rarely approach the Terrorist base directly.
  • A Site, B Site. Bombing Points. They are both on the top level of the location. The Counter-Terrorists have about the same access to them, so the teams try to distribute their efforts.
  • B Stairs. If we talk about Vertigo Callouts CS:GO 2023, this zone is very popular. The point is that through it the attacking side often sneaks close to B Site.
  • Catwalk. Barrier behind which can be a sniper, and therefore the user must use grenades. Compared to Dust2 Callouts, the approaches to the points for laying the bomb in this location are much more difficult.
  • Connector. A small climb which opens up the view to the Middle. Defenders often use it to eliminate enemies who enter this area.
  • Top Mid. This is a small area that connects A Site and Middle. Very often this is where the most heated battles take place. Whoever can control this zone actually controls the whole upper level.
  • Middle. This is the central part of the map. In most rounds, Terrorists use this passage to get to the top level. To increase your chances of success, you should definitely use grenades.
  • T Stairs. This is the ladder that the attacking side uses to climb from T Spawn to Middle. Definitely, if you learn Vertigo Callouts CS:GO, this position should be remembered.
  • Boost. A hidden position that is in close proximity to A Site. Terrorists don’t always expect the enemy to be there.
  • Heaven. An underbrush that sits between CT Spawn and A Site. Gives a great view and helps to actively counter the enemy.
  • A Ramp. This is a long enough area for Terrorists to climb if their target is A Site.
  • Sidewalk. A narrow passageway, which helps the attacking side to suddenly be in close proximity to A Site. Increasingly, however, the defending players try to go there so as not to give the enemy the slightest chance.
  • Ladder. Another position that can be used to climb from the bottom level to the top. If the bomber moves quickly, they may kill several opponents who entered Middle.
  • Underpass. If you like Vertigo Map CS:GO, you should know all the underpasses. For example, this one will be perfect to change the attack vector unexpectedly.
  • Toilets. The most ambiguous, yet popular position on the map. The toilets are located near the T Spawn and have no effect on the movement of players on the map. However, they can open and hide there from enemies. Practical efficiency of such actions is almost negligible. Therefore, low level FACEIT users use this area for fun.
  • Save Spot. This is an isolated position, which is located in the central part of the lower level. If you sit in this area, you can easily eliminate the enemy who is trying to get away from A Site.
  • Bridge. In fact, it is a small passageway that connects Big Box and Save Spot. The use of grenades or some unique tactics won’t bring a special result here, so you should hope that there is no enemy nearby.
  • Big Box. From the name Vertigo Map Callouts you can understand that the main element is a large container. It’s the view from A Ramp.
  • Dark. An almost completely darkened area, which can be a surprise for both teams.
  • Scaffold. This is the area that connects Dark and A Sidewalk.

In general, it may take a player a few days to figure out all the nuances of this map. If you memorize the names of the positions and work out the strategies, you can become a near-perfect fighter. Many players are already bored with Mirage Callouts, so locations such as Vertigo allow you to take a fresh look at the legendary CS:GO franchise. Moreover, more are choosing this map at the professional level.

As practice shows, discipline wins. If a player learns to control their attention to the process, their opponents have little chance of gaining the final advantage. Therefore, time should be devoted to such training.
