What You Need to Know About Cache Map Callouts

Table of Contents

The first location in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is de_Cache. This is a large map, notable for its Chernobyl theme. Cache is a fairly popular scenario in a common shooter that contains a lot of areas that need to be thoroughly explored. There are basic 2022 Cache callouts, despite the compactness of the overall design. That’s what our material will talk about. You can also learn a lot about Dust 2 callouts and Inferno Callouts.

Zone A

The area is located in the upper left corner of Cache, in a large room that is viewed through several corridors. The A location for laying the bomb can be seen from the highway area, which connects Zone A to the middle part of the map. Characters can also get through the doorway from the  Squeaky Room into Zone A, but there is no clear view of the A Bomb Zone.

Fierce fighting usually takes place near the doorway, which is not surprising, since that’s where the bomb will be planted. The room contains plenty of cover and sight lines, which will allow you to defend yourself for quite a long time. The extensive range of cover gives players a chance to develop a strategy on the fly, because the enemy can hide in different places.

How to Defend Zone A

The most common tactic of the game in Cache is to use two characters in Zone A as a repellent to the enemy and two others on the Mid who protect the defenders. There are plenty of strategies for this location using two players, but you can also use other tactical combinations.

Keeping players in the Mid allows you to control the situation in order to support the defenders of Zone A if the enemy tries to break through to the bomb site. It is worth remembering that it is good to occasionally change the disposition of characters in CS:GO Cache to achieve success.

How to Attack Zone A

There are two ways to get to the Zone A bomb planting point: through the central part of Cache along the highway or through the main room. You can also sneak in through the Squeaky Room, but it is shot through by the enemy.

Once the intruders enter the room, it must be inspected and the enemy near the forklift must be eliminated. You also need to inspect the presence of positions around the Square from the back, throwing a Molotov cocktail there. On Cache map CS:GO, Mid or the central part should be attacked with a smoke grenade near the Connector, as that is where the SWAT forces can approach from. Next, you need to head down the highway and chase the enemy out with smoke grenades from behind a truck and a bend, before entering Zone A.

T-Spawn

An enemy attack can take place through the far right corner of Cache, opposite the garage and closer to the back of the center of the map. The distance is almost the same, so you can get close to such Cache CS:GO Callouts as Zone A and Zone B, where the center of the location is an important place to conduct attacks.

From the left side, there is a corner for Terrorists to get to the T-Box, and then to Zone B, as well as through the vents to the central part. There is a garage at the front, through which you can sneak into the center of the map and down the corridor to Zone A. Even if you walk alongside the garage through the main long corridor, you can still get to the location of Bomb A.

CT Spawn

This is one of the many CS:GO Cache callouts, which represents a Special Forces base. It is located on the opposite side from the Terrorist locations in a large room leading to corridors. You can quickly get to Zone A and Zone B through them. It also leads to an upper path through the middle roof and through a truck, which gives you a view of the Zone. This area is perfect for defending against Terrorist attacks.

Mid

Among the masses of callouts for Cache, the central part of the map — where serious battles are fought — is worth mentioning. Controlling this area will allow you to move your forces anywhere on the map. If Terrorists have taken over this area, the SWAT team needs to go round the whole map to get to anywhere a bomb is planted.

But if the Special Forces have taken control of the area, it is possible to prevent possible criminal attacks by not allowing them to get any closer. It is possible to move away from the central part by a vent, which gives the ability to quickly move units for the team that has taken control of the area. The Zones can be visually controlled from here.

A-Main

This represents an important part of the map in the form of a wide corridor used by Terrorists to attack the Zone. It is easier to access than through the Squeaky Room. There are usually active fights here, while Special Forces hold back Terrorist attacks.

Zone B

On the opposite side of the Cache map’s Zone A in the back of the big room, there is also another Cache callout known as Zone B. Its proximity to the Special Forces base allows them to move their forces quickly, while the Terrorists must pass through several areas to reach their targets. Zone B has poor visibility, making it difficult to approach them.

Exiting through a corridor or vent is not a good idea, as the player becomes a target for enemy units. It is better to use the overhead rooftop route to get a great view of the area.

How to Protect Zone B

There is a strong focus on Zone A in the game, so the second bomb location is controlled by only one character. The defender must hold out long enough for the main forces to move up to this location. Boxes on the site, as well as quick maneuvers using smoke and stun grenades, will help to fortify the defense.

Of course, it is better to have two characters in Zone B, but even one player can solve the problem. It is best to be in this area while Terrorists are attacking the first Zone by planting the bomb.

How to Attack Zone B

Different strategies apply here, depending on the level of control of the area. If Terrorists have taken the ventilation holes, they can approach the doorway or throw a flash-bang grenade to pass through the area without difficulty. Molotov cocktails can also be used to dislodge Special Forces and take the area.

Mining in open terrain is a risky step, but it helps to solve the problem of defending Zone B from the Special Forces counterattack. Smoke grenades and other weapons will allow you to damage the defenders and prevent bombs from being planted in the area.
